To accurately describe Arden, we must first begin with his physical build. At 5'4", he is not exactly tall for his age, and is most often dwarfed by the other boys in his class, as well as several of the girls. He is in pretty good shape, with square shoulders, and strong muscles in all limbs, but maybe a few pounds heavier than his desired weight. Arden has large feet, and hands that are distinctly feminine, although these facts are barely ever noted by onlookers. He has one deep scar on the lower area of his leg, caused when he decided to leap over a barbed wire fence after a particularly rowdy party which involved most people getting drunk.
His hair is of a fair length, falling messily around his face and eyes, and a deep black in color. Arden is constantly toying with his hair, changing both the style and color as he wishes for what he calls 'method acting', but what most others say is simply trying to stand out from anybody else. His eyes are a fierce blue, attracting the attention of most people who glance at him, but often seeming oddly vacant. His skin is usually very pale, very deathly, but in summer he tans pretty easily, and for this reason can be seen pouring on sun block during the warmer months.
In regards to clothes, Arden dresses very casually, normally wearing some nice i-can't-have-kids-because-my-testicles-are-being-slowly-killed jeans, a band t-shirt, and one of his many pairs of Chuck Taylors. However, he is willing to get dressed up for certain occasions, and will sometimes even wear a suit, if the need arises. Although the clothes he wears are generally casual, they are impeccably clean, and most often look brand new, although this is probably because he spend most of his money buying clothes online, and therefore normally are new clothes.
Arden holds himself in a way that makes him look shyer and more timid than he actually is, keeping his gaze lowered, and finding it difficult to look people in the eyes. His hands are normally either hanging at his sides or clasped behind his back, making him seem younger than his fifteen years. He often mumbles instead of speaking, being very self-conscious, and leaves many of his sentences half-finished. He has a voice that is neither deep nor high, and speaks in a clear British accent, but in general he has a very broad vocabulary, and does not have to resort to the shortened phrases that are so common of the youth of today.

History;
Arden had a normal childhood, coming from a well-off family with four generations of doctors and such. He went to an average primary school, but was hardly popular even at a young age, and this carried on throughout his entire school life. Instead of playing outside with most other kids, he would sit inside the library and read, picking up almost any book he could find, and reading it cover to cover. This immediately set him apart from the majority of youngsters his age, as they labeled him 'weirdo' without ever truly getting to know him.
Due to the success of his two older siblings (Cryss and Jaq), and the fact that his younger sister is adored by all who meet her, Arden became desperate to achieve higher than anybody else in his class, putting in extra hours to get good grades, and hating the fact that he had to live up to his family's standards. Arden finally succeeded when he was moved up a year at school, and, despite his initial happiness, he began to resent that fact as it meant that he was teased by his new classmates for being such a geek. However, he stuck with it, simply blocking out everything his peers said to him, whether good or bad.
Whether he intended for it to happen or not, Arden became isolated among those who should've been his friends, and this only stopped when, after his fourteenth birthday, Arden chose to relax a bit more, and spend less time on schoolwork. Shortly after this decision, he began to settle in at school, being teased less and less. Indeed, it seemed like everything was going well, and Arden was beginning to hope that he was going to fit in okay after all.
Arden's hopeful dreams of fitting in were destroyed when he was forced to move schools, and started his Junior year not knowing anybody at all. He began to spend more and more time reading once more, and eventually all of his previous good work at socializing was undone, leaving him just as strange as before. While he continued to speak with his classmates, he was far more distant than he had been at his old school, and was soon regarded as a 'lost case'. Still, with the abundance of alcohol surrounding the area of his new school, one can only wonder if Arden will remain the quiet nerd of the class..
Persona;
Arden is the quiet, shy, easily-embarrassed type, doing his best to keep out of the limelight, but often doing exactly the opposite. He doesn't like talking to people who believe that they are superior to everybody else - including teachers - and is known for his hatred of authority. He is a nervous guy, and will hyperventilate when particularly scared, although this makes him feel worse than he did beforehand, and is not something that he would admit to. His phobias of heights and spiders are very deep rooted, and he cannot overcome them, despite many attempts by both himself and his peers.
Arden can be loud around those who know him well, revealing a chattier, far more self-confident person, but generally he is seen as being lacking in confidence, and it is only when people talk to him that they see the far more optimistic side of his personality. He has a habit of stammering his words, and is teased because of this, but is not afraid to stand up to those who are bigger and stronger than he is. A very strong believer in justice, Arden will yell at those who are mean to either him or his friends, despite the consequences, and as a result, most of his foes are so surprised that the 'little nerdy kid' actually talks that they leave him alone.
Because of the excellent standards that his siblings constantly reach, Arden feels pressurized to receive top marks in everything, and so will spend long hours reading or doing homework, and quite frankly finds it far too stressful. Not exactly brilliant at sharing his feelings, Arden gets very angry very quickly, but has no way of getting rid of it, and for this reason has been known to explode in a shouting fit at times, although this is not a common occurrence. Overall? Arden is your typical nerd, and hardly 'cool'. Could be classed as weird.

When Father had told him to swim, and keep swimming, Inti had obeyed him. He was hardly a disruptive child - more the goody-two-shoes of the family, and for this reason was often pushed to the wayside while his slightly noisier siblings recieved everyone's attention. But, for once in his life, he had actually been spending some quality time his his father when it happened. He had been splashing playfully in the ocean, barely any distance from the great stretch of beach that had been their home, and Father had suddenly panicked. Thick grey smoke had billowed from the inner parts of the island, and flames had already began to eat away at the sand. Father had told him to swim as far away as he could, and that his mother and siblings would be there with him in a matter of minutes. Of course, Inti had listened to him, trusted him. The cub couldn't remember how long he had paddled back and forth, waiting for Father to reappear. But Father hadn't appeared, and the youth had been left to the mercy of the sea. Thankfully, the sea had been kind, for he was still alive after drifting for what seemed like hours. The negative side? Oh, yes. He was lost.
Inti had never been truly lost before. Obviously, there had been times when he would lose his way in the forest back home. But he had always known the area, and managed to find his way home. Here he was a newcomer, and to be truthful he didn't known one end of the island from the other. Sure, he had joined the Sparkling Lagoon pack, and now held the pretty title of Beta Pup. That didn't, however, mean that he knew where he was, and Inti had the feeling that the only thing that could help him was a tourist map. Sadly, it was highly unlikely that he would find one of those, so for now the brownish cub would just have to wander aimlessly. He had been plodding uneasily back and forth along the edge of the great burst of green foliage that seemed to take up most of the land for the last ten minutes, deep in thought. The summarisation of his thoughts allowed him to break from his reverie, short, thin legs moving at a steady march as he decided to be slightly more adventurous, and weaved cautiously between two furiously pink bushes.
Considering that he was on the small side for a wolf that was nearing his first birthday, Inti maintained a tough outer casket, deflecting any insults or attacks that were headed his way. He was skinny too, and in some parts of his body, the shapes of his bones could be seen quite clearly, although this was not due to lack of nourishment. Inti was, quite simply, the typical wolf runt, and there was not much he could do about it. His fur was a blend of beige and brown, changing from one colour to the next at various stages on his small body. He had two eyes, two ears, one nose, and for legs, and quite simply looked like your Average Joe, failing to stand out among others of his kind. Inti preferred it that way, really, as he hated being the center of attention. In most places, his pelt provided a camoflauge against the natural world. Here, judging by the bright bursts of colour, it would be a different story. Inti looked hardly inconspicous as he weaved from behind tree to tree, despite his best efforts to remain hidden. He had to face the fact that yes, he probably would bump into a packmember as he explored a little. But would he have the bottle to stand and chat with a complete stranger? No, Inti decided worriedly, it was not exactly likely.
