The melody rang out in Blake's soft smooth voice as he sat on the edge of the stage. It wasn't the greatest auditorium in the world, but it wasn't that bad either. But right now, that didn't matter to the seventeen year old. All he needed was a place to be alone, and that was easier said than done in this large and, well, highly populated school. But the auditorium was free, and he had as long as he needed...

Things for Blake weren't going so well. His mom's condition had been doing anything but improving, and that was hitting him deeply. His grades have been slipping, and recently, his cover up as the happy go lucky kid has been faltering as well. People were beginning to talk, and ask questions, and that was not something that he needed. The last thing he wanted was for people to know about his past, and his secrets that lay amongst it.

But for right now, he was in his nirvana, 'LT' at hand (his guitar) and that was all he needed. Music had always been part of him, and this was one of his favorite songs. He wrote it just after he had first arrived at Windons. Leaving his mom alone with his Aunt wasn't the easiest things for him to do, seeing as he felt it his responsibility to take care of her, and make sure she was going to be alright.

Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted. Stopping his fingers, his song came to a halt. The lights were dim in the auditorium, Blake was never a fan of bright lights when he played his music, especially when he was a lone like this, but right now he would have really appreciated him. It seemed like he was no longer alone in the room. No matter how cliche it was, Blake called out, wanting to know who this intruder was.

"Is anyone out there?"

He'd been innocently walking when he found the auditorium maybe an hour or so ago. There hadn't been anyone around at the time he walked in, so he had gone exploring around the place and found nothing. For the most part he'd been just looking around boredly seeing if there was anything interesting. As soon as he heard the sound of a guitar and a familiar voice he grew silent, and listened intently.

A small hiccup had escaped him, and made him stumbled. Jimmy was extremely uncoordinated when he was as hyper as he was, so he tripped lightly, making more noise then he would have wished. With a cheeky grin he peeked his head out from behind the curtains to see Blake with his guitar in the dim lights.
A familiar boy Blake was, one that Jimmy had been good friends with almost instantly. they got along so well and there was just something about him that Jimmy liked... Something was there that both guys could relate too but didn't speak of, or that's how he felt anyway. His feelings have been known to be wrong. He learned that the hard way when he hit on a straight guy once... quite embarrassing that was. Anyways, that's another long story and the details are for another day.

Jimmy giggled quietly, not really anything funny to laugh at, but he was hyper and super bored. "Hey, did I disturb you, buddy?" he asked looking over at Blake from behind the curtain still. The boy didn't look like he was feeling like himself. Perhaps it had been the talk that started to go around the school. He'd heard but never passed anything on. He wasn't one to gossip cause then you just got seriously burned when the other found out. Especially about his friend, no way.

Today Jimmy was wearing a black t-shirt with a silverish logo in the corner that read Poor Man's Riches in white with stars around it. He also had many black and silver bracelets on each wrist. Some camo knee length shorts weren't tight to his legs, a little baggier then he normally liked actually, but these were the only ones the stores had in anything even close to his size. Some original colored converse fit his feet, laced up all the way. His hair was kind of purplish due to some fun with some old friends. He was the victim as always, so now his hair was purple.
